The traditional drapes are which give more classic details, that encourage indulgence with colours that are subtle or rich and dramatic. If one is planning to have a traditional room, with some antique/ royal furnitures etc in the living space, layering of patterns and textures in the drapes is a key to add warmth and depth to the room. In creating your space think of linen, silk, velvet or heavy cotton blends with a pleated, french maybe, to finish the panel. To set the tone you may use different patterns of either Navajo, Remington or Hacienda that can reflect and give more to the dramatic sense of the room.
