I am Rohan, residing in Austin. I am a sports lover and cricket is my favorite. I used to play cricket every evening with my friends. I even play football.
Last day we had a tight match between another team. The game was social but competitive. Every guy wore a protective helmet. But I forget them in the room because I was running late. I was the opening batsman and I hit four 4's and two 6's. While I was batting, I was struck in the right eye with the hard red cricket ball. I dropped to my knees in pain. Tears came from my eyes. My eyeball hurt and my vision was 100% gone in that eye. Immediately, my friends took me to the hospital and the doctor said that surgery is the only solution for me.
It has been a year since I had my surgery. After the surgery, the doctor prescribed me glasses and I have been using them for the last one year. I didn't play cricket for one year. Yesterday I played cricket, but I felt very difficult to manage my glasses while playing. A friend suggested undergoing the Lasik eye surgery from our province. I took an appointment at the same clinic. Is this effective? Is it safe to undergo surgery soon after another? I need real feedback from those who have undergone this surgery. Kindly share your views. Thanking you. |
